

COVID-19 Guidance for Academy Customers
This guidance prepared by the Academy team in consultation with government, industry & medical expert advice, outlines the stringent, monitored measures that Kent Golf Academy has put in place to safeguard our coaches & customers during the COVID-19 pandemic. For customers, the measures cover each step of the journey from home to your session & back home again. These protocols are in place during our operating hours, seven days a week. These measures & procedures are under constant review, updated in line with advice from the government, health authorities & governing bodies.
ACADEMY ACCESS
TO ACCESS THE ACADEMY CUSTOMERS MUST:
- Book in Advance for Lessons & Custom Fittings
- Not have been out of the country within the previous 14 days
- Not be in self-isolation & not required to cocoon
- Not be displaying any COVID-19 symptoms or cold/flu symptoms
- Please adhere to the 2m social distancing measures at all times
- Wash & sanitise hands before entering & leaving the academy
BOOKINGS & ARRIVAL
Booking for lessons & custom fitting is compulsory.

We require contact details for all customers in case of contact tracing
All customers will be made aware of our measures prior to their visit
Customers Golf equipment should be washed before leaving home
Arrive at the academy no more than 5 minutes prior to your session – please use the doorbell or ring the academy to let us know you have arrived.
Please wash your hands & use provided sanitiser when entering and leaving the Academy
Please leave your golf bag in your car & just bring the clubs you need for your lesson/fitting
PROCEDURE ACADEMY FACILITIES
We have sanitising stations at the top of the stairs, in the studio & reception area
All surfaces, toilets & common areas will be cleaned on a regular basis
All fitting clubs will be sanitised before & after use
Doors and windows will remain open wherever possible to provide air circulation
Please maintain the 2m social distancing at all times
Maximum of 2 persons in the studio or reception area at any time
DURING YOUR SESSION
Please maintain the 2m distance between yourself and your coach or fitter. The hitting mat and the desk are at least 2m apart. Please stay within these boundaries for your entire session
Please sanitise your hands once the session has finished & again before you leave and also after making a payment
All customers must leave no more than 5 minutes after their session has finished & all lesson timings will be strictly adhered to for the purposes of safe lesson gapping
Coaches will avoid physical contact during your session; they will also be limited to what they can physically demonstrate
Please do not bring any food or drink items into the Academy
Please do not bring any personal belongings other than the clubs you need for your lesson
PAYMENTS & RE-BOOKING
BACS will be our preferred method of payment, however, we will accept contactless and chip and pin payments if this is not possible
